Kid's Fishing Clinic - Daytona

Located at the Sunglow Fishing Pier

Kids' Fishing Clinics are free, one-day educational events for kids ages 5-15. At the clinics, the children go through four mandatory skill stations: Casting, Knot Tying, Fishing Tackle, and Ethical Angling. After approximately one hour of instruction, children will receive a free rod and reel (compliments of local sponsors, while supplies last) and, if conditions allow, will have the opportunity to fish (catch and release only). All participants must be accompanied by an adult.  Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, bag lunch, and water.

Archery 3-D Course

Located at the Chinsegut Conservation Center

Chinsegut volunteers from a local archery group are hosting monthly 3-D target shooting opportunities for the public. You must have your own equipment to participate. Fees are requested to help us maintain equipment and provide new exciting archery opportunities for the future. Fees: 12 and under are free, ages 13-16 5$, adults 10$ or 25$ maximum per family. For more information call the Center at (352) 754-6722. Allow up to four hours to participate.

Woman's Saltwater Fishing Clinic - Ocala

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is hosting a Women’s Saltwater Fishing Clinic in Ocala on September 15. The free, day-long clinic is from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Millers Boating Center, 1661 NW 57th St.. Advance registration is required. Youth Hunt - Hog - Indian River County/Sand Lake's

Youth 12 to 17 years old will be able to have a safe, educational, mentored hunt. Youth will have to show proof of completing their Hunter Safety Course. Each youth will need to be accompanied by a parent of guardian. The hunt weekend will teach them marksmanship and firearm safety, tracking and processing game, how to hunt safely, legally, and ethically, and the relationship between hunting and conservation.
