2010 -- Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation (QUWF)

Aprl 24, 7 am - 5 pm.  This day promises to be a fun time for all participants. Corey Raner, Retired, Washington Redskins football player, will be there to shoot, interact and sign autographs for attendees. Many games and events are scheduled for the kids. The primary purpose of this event is to get youth and adults together to interact and have fun. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for our on-going quail habitat restoration project with the Dept of Interior, Bureau of Land Management at Meadowood Farm, Lorton, VA and for other youth and wildlife projects planned for this year. QUWF is a 501(C) (3) non-profit conservation organization. Generating revenue for “Turnin-The-Dirt™© at the local, grass roots level by the chapters and doing the work locally is what QUWF is all about. Our members want to get out there and make a difference by performing upland wildlife projects that have an impact.   More information about QUWF can be found by visiting  www.quwf.net.

OPEN FISHING AT LYNN’S POND
Fishermen 16 years and older must have their 2009 Picatinny fishing permit and 2009 NJ fishing license with trout stamp.
As an added feature, the Annual Pig Roast will also be held on Saturday the 12th at 1700 hours at the Rod & Gun Club. The cost is $30.00 a couple, $17.00 for a single, $9.00 for children 12 and under, and under the age of 6 is free.
